Stars of Charlotte Plains 2025

THE DELIVERABLES

Held at the picturesque Charlotte Plains, in Outback Queensland, Stars of Charlotte Plains (June 2025) brought together travellers, locals, and adventure-seekers for three days of live music, food trucks, family fun, and of course, a soak in the iconic artesian baths.

As part of the Charlotte Plains team, Carling had the joy of helping bring this event to life:

+ Event Planning & Coordination – development of event schedule, run sheets, and site layouts.
+ Artist & Vendor Management – booking and liaising with musicians, food vendors, and market stallholders.
+ Ticketing – setup and management of event ticketing and attendee communications.
+ Marketing & PR – coordination of media coverage, social media promotion, and photography.
+ On-the-Day Delivery – overseeing timelines, site operations, and stakeholder coordination throughout the weekend.

Cheers to 70 Years!

THE DELIVERABLES

+ We had the honour of planning and delivering a milestone 70th Birthday on a private property in June 2024. Close family and friends were seated on long rows of oak banquet tables underneath a festoon lit marquee. The tablescape was kept masculine with antique wooden votives, vintage bottles, foraged foliage, stone crockery, with pops of amber glassware. A rustic grazing table and shared menu cooked in the open fire dome was a highlight of the evening. Cheers to 70 years, Mike!

One of the best decisions I made in planning my husband’s 70th birthday celebration was to have Withasee plan the event. Carling was generous with her time and her ideas, and her experience made sure that the event ran smoothly on the night. No detail was missed in her planning. Her organisational skills and ability to problem solve are exceptional and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again. I saved time, money and lots of stress by having her organise this event.

Life@Work Conference

Sarah’s Birthday Celebration

+ We had the fun task of pulling together a 50th Birthday Garden Soirée for a private client. Alongside 60 of their closest family and friends, they dined on a Mediterranean shared feast underneath market umbrellas in her Brisbane backyard. Crisp blue and white styling with citrus pops adorned long tables, transporting guests to another time and place. Happy Birthday, Sarah!

Let’s Party

THE CLIENTS

I am grateful to have witnessed Nic and Krissy’s relationship from the very beginning. I remember Krissy casually sliding ‘Nic’ and ‘beard’ in the same sentence one day at work, and I knew that was that. Nic was recruited overseas as a High Performance Coach on the PGA circuit, and I lost my work wife shortly after. She joined him in America and became a powerhouse Global Events Manager. So, when they approached me asking if I’d be their person on the ground in Australia for their After Party, I was flattered as heck.

THE BRIEF

Nic and Krissy decided to elope in Italy, but knew they wanted to party hard with loved ones back home. They wanted a fun cocktail-style party with good food, live tunes, and a NYC rooftop vibe. They contracted Withasee on a project-basis for event management – planning and delivery.

Finding vendors/suppliers that were willing to partner with us on New Year’s Eve eve was a challenge! For the wedding industry, this is the time to take a much-needed break. I reached out to my go-to network but no deal… most of them had already scheduled their out-of-office. Determined to deliver, I called on familiar names as well as professionals I had recently discovered. We worked together over the course of a year to bring Nic and Krissy’s vision to life:
