Stars of Charlotte Plains 2025

THE DELIVERABLES

Held at the picturesque Charlotte Plains, in Outback Queensland, Stars of Charlotte Plains (June 2025) brought together travellers, locals, and adventure-seekers for three days of live music, food trucks, family fun, and of course, a soak in the iconic artesian baths.

As part of the Charlotte Plains team, Carling had the joy of helping bring this event to life:

+ Event Planning & Coordination – development of event schedule, run sheets, and site layouts.
+ Artist & Vendor Management – booking and liaising with musicians, food vendors, and market stallholders.
+ Ticketing – setup and management of event ticketing and attendee communications.
+ Marketing & PR – coordination of media coverage, social media promotion, and photography.
+ On-the-Day Delivery – overseeing timelines, site operations, and stakeholder coordination throughout the weekend.

Safety Publication

THE DELIVERABLES

Having previously worked on Lifting Matters publications, Withasee was contracted to plan and deliver the Q3 2021 edition on Jib Safety. This edition focused on safely erecting, using, and removing fly jib extensions; and importantly highlighted Workplace Health and Safety QLD’s Safe Work Month and Mental Health Week 2021.

The project involved:

+ Seeking contributors, writing incident articles, and interviewing industry workers, 
+ Liaising with the graphic designer, and editing the 36-page edition ready for publication, 
+ Loading content to Issuu for digital readership, and sending files to print for hardcopy distribution, 
+ Converting publication content into half a dozen blog posts on the Lifting Matters website,
+ Creating an EDM to be sent out to subscribers on launch day,
+ Designing graphics and writing content for social media across Q4 2021.
